| This week we worked on putting some corn in the freezer! |

| Last year was a bad year for our corn, so we were glad to have some to freeze this year. :) |

| Doug and Gracie worked on snapping some beans that were also ready this week. |

| Sunday it was hot! S we decided to have a water balloon fight! They are supposed to look like grenades. |

| Doug had a cup and a syringe. (No needle attached of course.) And the little kids were packing squirt guns! |

| After all the balloons were gone, squirt guns were broken, they resorted to garden hoses and 5 gal. buckets! |

| Bryce also came to visit Em and the family on Sunday which is always alot of fun! It was a great weekend. We took Caleb to church for the first time and heard a great sermon and go to visit with some wonderful people. What a blessing. By the time the day was done we had some very tires little ones. But it was a great summer day! There will be alot more canning and freezing in the week to come, AND alot more heat! Remember when we were all so tired of the cold and couldn't wait to have it be warm? Now I'm looking forward to fall! :) Maybe someday I will learn contentment! :) Thanks for visiting! |
