First Day of School, Reenactments, and More!

This weekend, Emily, Rachel, and I went with our cousins and our friends, Lauren & Abigail to a Civil War reenactment in Galesburg. It's called Heritage Days.

Michelle made me a new dress for the event. She is a very talented seamstress!

Brooke made Rachel's wonderful and cute new dress! She is the best seamstress I know! :)

Here is Emily's new gown. She sewed it with the help of Brooke. She is also wearing Loren's hat. Which we all loved!

I actually took this picture of myself. Scary! I know! :)

Here is our wonderful friend, Abigail :)

The gardens at Galesburg were absolutely beautiful!!!

A back-view of Michelle's wonderful creation for me :)
Here is our friend, Lauren. Owner of the glorious hat!

Abigail & I being silly! :)

At the reenactment they had yummy English Lemonade in old-fashioned bottles
On to other things...Our milk cow calved on Monday. So know we have milk again!

The calf is a heifer. And she is so tiny and cute!

A conformation shot for all ya cattle conformation judgers! ;)

Lately, Jake has taken to climbing trees

Sadly, the other day Dad's shoes finally died...

So, Mom threw them away

On the 15th of August, Grace, Daniel, Sam, & I started school.

I was very excited to be starting school!

Sam wasn't quite as enthusiastic

Daniel & Grace ready for the day!

Caleb is growing like a weed

Smokey reading for a ride

Dad gave Olivia & Jake a motorcycle ride

Jake was helping clean the living room. Crazy face! (Sorry for the blurry pic!)

Well, that's all for now. I will be posting more pictures of Galesburg. Tom, a professional photographer was there, so I'd like to get some of his pictures up.
