Warm weather

Today is such a beautiful day.  The kids have been outside running, riding bikes, swinging, climbing trees, visiting with their Dad, and having a great time.  Tell me again....How much snow and wind are we going to get tomorrow?! :(   I'm hoping they are wrong. They have been the last couple times, so maybe this will be no exception.   But the wonderful reminder that spring is on the way has been a blessing to all of us today.
Caleb with his temperature.
The last three weeks we have been fighting off a horrible virus.  (Which is why Calebs little face is so red.)On this day it's Caleb's turn to be sick.  He wouldn't stay in though.  He wanted to be right with the big kids and be out.  I think everyone has had it now except Doug, Sarah, and Rachel.  It's hard to get rid of. Once you get it,it really hangs on.

Sarah came in after riding her horse

Livie checking out the chickens. :)

Climbing on top the hog shed.

Doug and Sam have been moving the old irrigation off the field so the new one will be able to go around.

The cows follow the spans as they go by.  :) Its been quite a process taking it apart and moving it. But i believe they are about finished.

My new porch completed by my wonderful, talented, handsome farmer. :)
I Love it. (By the way.)
Life has been pretty busy, but pretty slow all t the same time.  The last couple weeks could be best characterized by many appointments. Baby doctors, eye doctors, dentists, violin lessons, and unfortunately, a few more dentist appointments.  Add to that a house full of sick kids, and a mom and life becomes interesting.

Doug and Sam went to a sale a couple weeks ago and bought a few more angus cows to add to the herd.  They are cow/ calf pairs.  We have enjoyed having new calves being born every few days, with a few yet to go. (Hopefully not tonight or tomorrow though.)

School has been moving right along, and hopefully within a month or so it will be finished up for the summer. Sam wants to plant and do quite a bit aof field work so he's working hard.

We found out the new little baby is a sweet little girl. She will be 24 weeks Monday. Over half way. She will be here before we know it. :)

Just last week some very dear friends of ours had an explosion at there company and have been leaning heavily on God to help them to know what to do, and how to begin rebuilding.  We love them and wish that this was not a part of their lives right now.  But at the same time watching how they have responded and all the big and small things they are thanking God for has been amazing! Please pray for the Prices. (Their blog is listed on the side if you want ot meet them.:) They are a Godfearing, homeschooling, large family.  Who have quite a testimony as to the greatness of God in their lives, even before this all happened last week at their business.

Well, that's about it for today.  We shall see if the snow comes or not. I know what I'm hoping for! :)
Thanks for visiting!
