I really like this picture.  I can't remember where I found it. But I love things that that encourage me to be a better mom, and that remind me that what I do everyday pleases God.   We have been traveling alot these last few weeks. We had the girls trip to the East coast at the end of May.  Two trips to Chicago so far. One more this Friday and we should be set with a brand new leg that fits perfectly.  One trip to Arthur for feed ingredients. ( We grind our own animals feed using non-gmo grain.).  All of these trips have been without Doug. We miss having him with us. He  has been trying to get cultivating and fence building in around all the rain.  We are hoping he can come to the last trip to Chicago.. Although, I must say, Grace and I are getting pretty good at the busy city driving. : )
Summer has hit full force at the farm.  School is done. The garden is planted. (And pretty weed free I must say.) : )Not alot of watering to do because it has rained quite a bit, and they are calling for more rain tomorrow in the afternoon on Fathers Day.  Which makes irrigation chores less.
Today Sarah sold Smokey.  Which makes me somewhat sad, but he was hers to sell.  She, after hurting her back, decided it was time to look for another job or take classes. Someone her size cannot lift the things she was lifting, and even though she seems to be on the mend, it would on;ly be a matter of time before she hurt herself again.  So, after 2 years at Precision Planting. She is home.  Which has been nice. I have missed her. : )  Whats next?  When your only 19 going on 20, it could be anything!  : )
Rachel is enjoying her CNA classes and has learned a great deal.  We will see where she goes from here.
Nothing else really comes to mind.  Life is pretty good.  The kids are great. We've been able to spend some time with friends in the last few weeks and that makes the kids really happy. (And me too.) : )
Tomorrow is Father's Day.  We have a few things planned for the wonderful man that lives in our house.  So tomorrow should be a fun day.Looking forward to it. Hope your day is great tomorrow too! Thanks for visiting. Happy Fathers Day!  : )
