Nick Whitfield Jr.
June 19,1966- August 12, 2014

Today Doug and I attended the funeral of my cousin. He was also a very good friend of Doug's. He and his wife got Doug and I together. I was friends with his wife Marilyn. Doug was friends with Nick.  A little creative planning by them, and we met. : )  They were our maid of honor and best man at our wedding 24 years ago.  This past week he past away of heart attack. Very unexpectedly. He was only 48.  He had a wife three kids and a grandson. He was a firemen in Bloomington.  We will miss him very much.  No one can know when the Lord will call us home.  We can only be ready ourselves. So that even though we miss someone while we are apart. Because of Jesus, we can know that we will see them again . .
