Marriage conference weekend

     This weekend Doug and I went to a Family Life Marriage conference in Bloomington.  It started Friday and ended Sunday about 12:30.  We had a wonderful time.  We had been to one about 20 years ago so some of it we had heard before and some of it we had forgotten.  The stories and principles the speakers shared were excellent.  Did I also mention we stayed the night?  I believe it's the most uninterupted sleep we have both gotten in......well, many years!  :)  (Thank you Rach and Sam.)
     One thing that made this conference more special than the one we went to 20 years ago was the fact that 20 years later our oldest daughter Em was there with Bryce.  Wanting to learn how to have a wonderful, God honoring marriage!  Praise the Lord!  It will not always be easy for them.  It's not easy for any of us, but if they / we continue to try to be the best we can be for each other and our families I believe God will bless that and help us everyday.
