| A new little heifer. |
Early this morning while we were doing school, Doug came in and told everyone to get their coats and shoes on. He told them to meet him outside! Out in the barn lot was a new little heifer. She is 3/4 angus and 1/4 jersey. To learn the reasoning of this cross you will have to talk to the man of the house. :) She is very sweet, very new, and doing very well thus far.

| Jacob and the new nameless calf. :) |
It has been an exciting, profitable morning and it's only 9:30. Who knows what the rest of the day will bring on the farm! Thanks for visiting.
Yay for little baby calves! It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe kids were all thrilled to see your new baby! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteThe reason for the cross is so that it gives alot of milk without getting incrediablly skinny...(Jersy's give alot of milk, but are thinny, Angus are fat but milk production not that great.)
