| I love this picture of us. It's from Em's wedding this year. :) |
The night we were married there was a huge ice storm. So after the ceremony, cake and punch. We walked across the street.( We rented a little house across the street from the church.) I should say slid across the street, got a few things together and went to Jumers for the evening. It was one of many times that I would learn that my husband, (and God), would get me where we were going safely even in bad weather. :)
We had met in June around the 2nd. In October he asked me to marry him. I said yes of course, and wondered why it had taken him so long! :) In December we were married. Now 22 years, 9 kids, a one great son-in-law later, we have never been happier.
I told Doug last night i was glad he asked me to marry him. He told me he was glad I said yes. :)
Awwwww. Its going to be a great day. Hope your day is as wonderful with the one you love. :)
Thanks for visiting!
