Stressful mama moment.

Sam (12) helping out his dad. :)
The other day I got to follow Sam 6 miles up the road to a farm his dad was going to be working at later on that morning.  We has to travel on main roads and country roads.  I cannot describe how stressful it was to watch my little boy, (*smile* I know, he's well on his way to young man.)dodging mailboxes, signs, waiting to cross bridges, getting over to the side for other cars to have more room, making sure he was well on his side of the road when he topped a hill.  (Just like I've seen his dad do a million times before. Sam has had a good teacher.) :)
He did a great job. A man's job, so that his dad could go with his day of work because he had the next tractor there and ready to go for him.  He was very proud to have carried this out. (I prayed and begged God to keep him safe the whole time! :)) I was very glad to pull into the field. Sam acted like he does it all the time. Which he has many times with his dad, BUT never with his mama watching. :)
I'm thankful for a capable, responsible son that can do the job.  Scared at times for the things my kids take on, the jobs they do. (Because I know all the things that can happen, that never seem to enter their minds. :) This of course has not been my first stressful mama minute, and it will certainly not be the last.  :)  I am proud of him just the same. Thanks for visiting. Have a good Night.
