Garden Work / or what you can do with a sack of chicken feed for fun! :)

    After a long evening of garden work recently Doug decided it was time for some fun with the kids.

Which they were more than happy to do, because everybody likes do things especially when Dad gets involved!!  :)

I know Doug looks confident in the picture, but Rachel is the fastest kid we have. (and her daddy knows it!)

I think in this picture he is trying to tell her there is no way she will win. :)

Such determination.  (Notice Dan in the background slaving away while everyone else goofs off! Poor Dan.) :)

And the chicken feed race!  We timed everybody to see who could run the same distance as the foot race  this time carrying a sack of feed. :)  Creativity at its best! :)

Winner and still champion!   (Rachel was a very close second!) :)

Then it was time for a break and let Smokey do some of the carrying.
