SNOW!!

The first snow of Winter (almost winter) 2013!

   It snowed last night!  I love snow. Especially at the beginning of the season! BUT come February, after I have trudged through it with bundled up kids trying to get to town, cleaned up the melting snow mess at the back step for the 100th time.  I will be ready for it to be gone! : )  But I'm not going to think about that now.

Isn't it funny how just a little of this white stuff can get you thinking instantly of  Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The kids thought since it had now snowed that it was also time to purchase the Christmas tree!  I love this time of year. Being cozy warm in the house, Christmas songs on the radio, singing, game nights with the kids and friends. All the yummy soups and breads. Celebrating Christmas at church and various singing programs. I cant wait. Hope your holidays are full of family, and friends. And of Thankfulness and joy as we celebrate all that we have been blessed with and then the coming of Christ!  Thanks for visiting!
