| Gracie relaxing listening to stories. |
Its the end of the day. The last thing to do is read stories with the kids. Tonight we are reading Homer Price by Robert McClosky. I love the picture in his books and the stories he writes to go with them. (Like Make Way For Ducks, Blueberries For Sal, One Morning in Maine.)

| Katie has been trying to get up on her hands and knees to crawl. |
Tonight while reading our story Livie had a horrible bloody nose. She caused this herself. She wanted to see if she could make it bleed if she picked it. What?? Doug realized she had this bloody nose so he scooped her up and layed her on the floor, cleaned her up, made sure it was stopped, and then off to bed she went. Along with all other little people. By this time in the day we had had kids throwing up, babies spitting up, multiple diapers, and now bloody noses. It was time for all to sleep! : ) And give Doug and I some much needed rest! : ) I fed Katie and she went to sleep as well. And I almost went with her. But decided if I let myself sleep at 8 it would be way too early. And of course, I needed to blog the last part of the day.
Now, we are visiting with all the big kids. Which is always a wonderful part of the day. The questions are sometimes funny. Like: If you give someone a brain transplant will they think like the person they received the brain from???? What??? : ) And what IS cryogenics? And could that really work? Ummmm..... of course Doug has all the answers to these things. Some of them are quite comical.
That's about the end of our cold day on the farm. Thanks for following us through the day. It was a fun one. Tomorrow I think will be more of the same, except with school. We are most definitely staying in. Hopefully all the animals do as well, the power stays on, and everything holds together because I don't want to be out! Hope you all stay warm as well. Good Night. : )
