Here's a post from last Thursday. I had planned on blogging it, but didn't have time. Here it is now! :)
Sam & I got an early start on the morning by hauling dirt from the field and putting it around Mom's hostas. (The dirt was washing away, leaving the roots showing)
Sam got to drive the lawnmower...
A picture of the pasture
A view of the barn from the house
Rachel caught a baby bird
Our faithful dog, Honey
I didn't realize Mom was taking this picture. I was just putting Smokey away after a long run.
Later on in the day...Jacob and I found a huge toad! I bet he wishes Jake would quit squeezing him!
There's some amazing action in this picture. At this point, I'm probably saying: "Jacob don't step on the toad!"
He's happy to be away from Jacob...for awhile
Olivia and Jacob smiling
Grace riding on her bike
Jacob and Olivia poking at the poor toad. But hey, isn't that what toads are for?
A good profile picture for Mr. Toad on face book, right?

Sarah . . . love the action photo! Mr. Toad is UGLY! and in true Mom fashion I have to say . . . I hope everyone that touched him washed their hands with soap . . . you know, so you don't get warts! lol
ReplyDeleteLove it Sarah!!! Especially the toad saga :) Too cute, and you're right - isn't that what toads are for? (well they make good snake food too I guess)
