More Graduations & The Girl's Trip

On Friday night, we (Mom, Rachel, Emily, and I) went to school to watch a couple of our friends graduate.
Pastor Collard is giving Katelyn her diploma. I'm gonna miss her at school!

L-R: Beth, Katelyn, Ruth, and Ashlee
That night, right after the graduation us girls went to Bloomington for the yearly girl's trip. We were planning to go to Joliet, IL, but we decided there was plenty to do in Bloomington! :) We went shopping(for summer clothes), ate at restaurants, and slept in till 8 or 9. **gasps**
Eating at the Olive Garden

Mom's lasagna

My Chicken Shishcabob(sp?)

Later, we ate supper at a steakhouse...

Mom and Emily waiting for their food

I obviously thought something was funny

Keep in mind, we are eating at 9 at night, so...

The 2nd night we were in Bloomington we stayed at the Chateau hotel. Which used to be a Jumers. It was a really neat hotel at a really affordable price! :)

The inside was just beautiful!

The front desk (sorry it's a little blurry!)

In one of the general rooms there was this press thing. I believe it's a cider press. Any thoughts???

The hotel was filled with antiques...This is an old elevator that held 2 people.

Being Civil War reenactors, this really caught our eye! :)

A fireplace in the lobby area

We found a 10 or 12 yr old girl to take this picture for us! :)

At this very same hotel someone had a wedding reception. Well, the next morning when we were touring the hotel we found some place-cards, cups, and un-eaten cupcakes! :) (Of course we did not eat them!)

I took a picture of Emily looking at herself in the mirror

I took a picture of myself looking in the mirror

The chandeliers were beautiful, also.

Along one of the hallways, they had this little garden area inside! It was interesting... :)

I think we had a little too much fun at this confession booth!

Just to remind you all, we are not Catholic! :)

Looking out one of the windows from the balcony

Mom looking around after we got done eating our breakfast

Rachel looking down from the balcony

I had no idea Rachel was doing this to me!!!

Emily, looking picture-perfect as usual. (Actually that saying is just off of a horse competition computer game we have! Imagine it in an English accent!)

Vending machines...what would we do without them? (Probably eat healthier!)

The pool...even though we didn't swim...

Emily and Rachel sat down to this arcade game for about 2 minutes

The front of the hotel

Today we had a bit of trouble with the pressure in one of our front tires. So we had to stop off at a gas station to get some air, twice!
    That's all for now!
