A Fun Sunday At The Whitakers

Sunday was a great day for Food, Fun, and Fellowship. (Which basically means, we made yummy burgers, beans, chips, and dessert, had people over and played Baseball)
We had my friend Bryce Baker from work come over to meet the family and join in the fun.
Bryce is a District Sales Associate for Precision Planting. He is in charge of the Southeast states and Ohio. Which means that Precision has dealers that sell the products or calibrate meters and Bryce is in charge of those dealers. We have been getting to know each other and Dad and Mom and the rest of the family wanted to meet him. He is a Godly young man with a passion for God, a kind heart and a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed having him come out and are looking forward to doing it again soon! =)

Dad's hidden talent of levitation.

Sarah strategizing on how she can make her team win.

Grace amazed at how far she hit the ball, (or she might've accidentally hit the pitcher)

Rachel sliding into 2nd.

Sam The Pitcher, trying not to get hit.

RUN!!!

The outfield.....

Bryce getting ready to dash to 2nd base.

Those who didn't want to play ball explored.....

....or ate suckers =)

Olivia is trying to figure out how she can ride Smokey

After baseball, Grampa stopped by and let us drive the Mule.

After the game, Grampa came and had the Mule with him, so everybody rode that for awhile to give Bryce a tour of the farm. It's always a blast to ride that thing!
It was a gorgeous evening... not too warm, a slight breeze, and minimal bugs.

A Mule-Load.

We can't post without putting a picture of a toad or frog!
When it got dark and all the littles were in bed, (except for Jake who had taken a nap earlier), we sat out on the front porch and talked and laughed and talked some more. Rachel went on the prowl for tree frogs and caught quite a few. It was a late evening, or early morning when everyone finally crawled into bed, but it was well worth it. =)
Monday we baled hay.
Monday everyone didn't crawl out of bed as early as usual. (wonder why? ;) ) I went to Precision, Dad went to go spray some fields, and Mom and everybody else did work around the house. It was a hot day!!! 90+ degrees and high humidity. Ugh! When I got home from work, Dad, Nick,Rachel, and Sam went out and baled our hay. Unfortunately it had been rained on a couple times, so it made it a little heavy.
Nick, Rachel, and Sam were on the rack.

Dad drove the tractor.

A neat shot

Almost full!
That's it for tonight!!!!
