Waiting........

Today this little baby is officially 38 weeks old.  We still have 2-3 weeks to go. (Since with all our other deliveries we have been at least a week late. That puts us around July 1st?   On Wednesday I had a doctors appointment and due to some anxiety I was having we decided to do a sonogram.  :)  Which helped relieve some of the worry. ( Always good to see a healthy little heart beat, and a very active little body squirming in such a small space!)  He seems to weigh about 7 lb 4 oz. right now. Small, and healthy!  Hooray!! :)  But, as with most of our other babies he is posterior, head down, and facing my left hip.  I am thankful he isn't totally face up, which some of our other kids have been, one resulting in a c section, and the other almost the same thing, but they were able to turn her.   The before mentioned are the reason for the anxiety.  Extremely long, and painful.     The doctor feels as long as he comes soon, and is small there shouldn't be problems.   Hopefully this week?  We have to wait at least  until Doug gets home from Chicago with Grace tonight!  :)     So for all you Godly wonderful ladies out there who read our post.  Here is my main question.  #1 for prayer that he will turn, our at least be deliverable.  #2. Any words of encouragement?  Verses, things that have given you strength when you felt anxiety, or just felt like (during labor) that you weren't sure you could do it anymore?   Please send your thoughts or experiences or how God helped you to my email. tenwhitakers@yahoo.com. Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated.  Even if it's just to tell me I will survive!  :)    If you know anyone who would have any good advice  that I don't know, forward this to them!  :)  Thanks in advance ladies!  ~Kristi  :)

  1. Bless your heart Kristi! I am excited for you all and know of the feelings of anxiety you are having. I know of the uncertainty, but not of the waiting or going past due. Katelyn was born at 34 weeks on the nose.

Praying for an easy delivery and quick one too! Can't wait to hear the good news of his arrival AND see pictures!

Please let us know if you need ANYTHING!

  3. Thanks Julie and Ruth,
Every prayer is a blessing! I have had some fairly routine deliveries also. I just have had some pretty tough ones that I would rather not relive. :) I never seem to know what it's going to be. All I can do is wait, pray and trust that God is in control! Thanks again, It means alot to me! ~Kristi :)
