Tuesday

Early this morning some of the older brothers decided that Caleb would like being pushed around in the doll stroller!  Especially at "high speeds".  If I judged by the amount of giggling and laughing going on I'd say they were right!  :)

Today was the last beautiful day in January.  I don't know what the actual temperature was today, but probably at least 50.  Doug worked all day in the cleaning shed.  Most of the time he didn't wear a coat.  The kids played outside, road bikes, played on the dirt pile, and on the jungle gym.  It's like getting an extra Spring. :)    Although, as we hear from a reliable source, it is NOT as nice as North Carolina, which is about 60 degrees.  Therefore no sympathy will be given for Illinoisians traveling in those areas at the present time!  ;) he! he!! :)

Today brought some challenges in child training that sometimes make me question if I know what I'm doing. (Actually there are times when I wonder that often! :)) I came across this on a dear friends blog, (just so you know I am not quite this wise. :)).

It said this about raising kids:
1.) Don't take too much credit for their good.
2.) Don't take too much credit for their bad.
3.)Don't try to raise a good child, raise a God-following adult.    Easy Right! :) But so true!

3 blessings from today: 77.)Late night grocery shopping with Doug! (also known as a date! :))
78.)Kids who are learning their schoolwork well. Both here and at Faith.
79.) Pink eye hasn't spread to anyone else!

                                                                      That's it! Good Night!! :)
