Where have we been this past week!?

A very foggy morning. You can barely see Smokey in the pasture.
It's been a whole week since we last blogged.  Time has kept right on moving at the Whitaker Farm.  Life is full and happy. With all sorts of things going on.  Unfortunately, as I write I am wondering what HAVE we done all week? Because it all seems like a blur now. :)
One of our mornings was extremely foggy and frosty. Which makes for beautiful pictures. :)

Smokey must have chose to be outside rather than in the barn this night.

Lot's of kichen help! :) Note: when you are 3 feet tall it is much easier to STAND on the counters to put dishes away! :)

Sarah spending some time with Caleb.

This past weekend we did alot of work in the kids bedrooms.  This is the girls room.  In 2008 finished rooms for some of the kids in the basement. And I think this may be the LAST time there was a major clean of this area.  The above picture doesn't look too bad until you realize that all the stuff in the next picture was removed and we still had to sort it all and clean the room that was left. :(  In there defense there are alot of girls in this one room. So there is alot of stuff.  And we thought if we got rid of some of the stuff....there would be more room for girls! :)
Happy cleaners :)

And of course, there was ALOT of messing around going on too!!  What Sarah doesn't realize is that Em is about to get her with the shop vac! :)

SEE????!!!! :)  Ha! Ha!!

Even Caleb thinks its funny!

Emily in her favorite John Deere hat. She realized it had a hole in the top, but being the industrious gal that she is she used the hole to stick her pony tail through! Making quite a fashion statement! :)

A great picture of the man of the house. :)

Em and Caleb after a long day.
Over the past week we had school, work, church, and some visiting.  On Sunday we spent a couple hours with the cousins at grandmas, and the big girls also took a good friend of theirs out for her birthday.
Since it has been a week I also have many blessings to get caught up with:
80.)Another week of safe travel for my kids to school and work.
81.)Pink eye was erradicated from my kids eyes.
82.)Doug and I had the time together and the money to go grocery shopping.
83.)The kids bedrooms are cleaned and somewhat organized.
84.)Sewing with Lily for another week.
85.)Kids who like to do things together.
86.)A Godly husband who wants to do even better.
87.)Being given a couple hours to myself this week. :)
88.)A healthy litttle baby who has started pulling himself up to things.
89.)Sam realizing a gate was left open to the pasture and closing it before we left for town!
90.)the next day, a gate being left open and by myself, getting a cow to go back in who had escaped
       into the driveway!
91.)our girls having other Godly girls to be friends with. (both related and not related.) :)
92.)being able to both homeschool and have a christian school for our kids to attend.
93.)Having the finances right now to send them there.
94.)having all these kids added to our family one at a time, but not truly realizing the magnitude of
the blessing they all are until  20 or so years down the road. Big families are great!!
95.)the great stories Doug tells the boys at night to encourage them to be strong men who follow
        God.
96.)A warm house just big enough to hold us all! :)
97.)Goodwill shopping this week! (Need I say more??)  :)
98.)A little boy who actually slept more last night than in all the nights we have had him so far!
99.) All the Bible verses and stories the kids are learning and memorizing at school. That will
be of great benefit to them all the days of their lives.
100!!!!!) (And it's only the beginning of February.) That "every good and perfect gift is from above".
         God is so good.

We hope your week has been a good one as well!  Good Night!!
