Harvest 2013

    Harvest has started here on the farm.  It's been slow going though. Some of the popcorn has been too wet, and some of it, in the same field has been really dry.  Today our popcorn company decided to let farmers bring in their corn wetter than usual in an effort to get more harvested.  So Doug decided to get 2 combines going. Since Sam cant drive a grain truck , he got to drive the other combine!  :)  Happy Day for Sam! :)

He was able to give some rides to Rachel and Jacob.

Harvest is always a lot of fun.  Especially for Caleb!

     We've got a while to go yet, but the guys are making a dent in it.  Everything is looking good and if all the machinery hold together the 2013 crop year will soon be a memory.  We have been truly blessed to be able to work with our kids this way.  They are having the time of their lives.
