Painting the fence

 Its 5:00 in the morning. I've been up since 4. :)  Its been one of those mornings that I was woke up early by a little person, but now I can't go back to sleep.  If I start to think about the day at all, the rest of me thinks its time to get up and get at it.  (No matter what time it is.) :)  So, after thinking of all the things I needed to do and about a freshly baked pan of cinnamon rolls....I decided to get up and head out to the kitchen, blog a few pictures, and decide if I was going to stay up or not.  :)

 Rachel and I have been painting our front pasture fence for the last few days.  We are actually staining/ water sealing it. It seems like there are miles and miles of boards. :)  She is fun to visit with so this has made the time go by fast for both of us! The rest of our kids are wanting to come down and I'm thinking once we get the section done closest to the road I may let them!

 Some of the other kids were working ? on cleaning the porch railing.  I say this because anytime we hand our kids little buckets of water somehow they manage to get most of the water on each other. I heard a lot of laughing and screaming happening out there. : ) They had a great time and they did a great job.  It was the perfect day for a water fight, don't you just love this weather?

Emily and Bryce came over and visited with us Friday night. They recently went on a trip to Colorado and brought the pictures to show us. We had a wonderful visit. One that lasted way into the night and early into the morning. And your having such a great time together that nobody wants to go home, and no one wants them to leave, but you just cant stay awake anymore, and getting up in a couple hours is going to be really hard!   You know, one of those kind of visits! : )  We are very grateful everytime we get one of those. With our busy schedule, and the kids trying to balance work, their  life, family, and friends time together is precious. Em and Bryce are doing great and we couldn't be prouder of them. 

Well, that's about all for now.  I think I'll take a short rest before all the rest of my family gets up for the day.( Take advantage of the quiet for a little bit longer.) Today is Sunday. We can all be together. Its going to be a beautiful day. Hope yours is beautiful too. : )
