Sunday Weinie Roast

On Sunday after church and our annual family picture shoot we had a weinie roast.  The sermon at church was about perseverance and obedience. Which was great and gave us all a lot to think about.  Our photo shoot went pretty well. We have lots of pictures to pick from for our Christmas picture . My niece who took the pictures for us is truly a saint! (thanks Megan!) : )
Livie enjoying a smore!

Did I mention that it was very cold out? Some of my kids think shoes aren't necessary year round!

The girls. :)

Bryce realized a little too late that this bale had come untied. Ooops! : )

My handsome farmer. Who is thankfully, now done with harvest! Woo Hoo!!
And that was our Sunday.  School continues, finishing up of outside painting projects, harvest is done. Now onto  fall tillage, planting rye, and fixing everything that is broken.: )  BUT, its also time for all the things we put off all year long for this slower time of year. More family time with Dad, and chances to do things together.  Oh, by the way last night after everyone went home Bryce and Em stayed to play games for awhile.  Emily is currently the reigning World Champion at Dutch Blitz! I think we played it for a couple hours. It was thrilling and LOUD to say the least! :) I cant wait to do it again. And her husband, brothers and sisters cant wait to get another shot at beating her!!
Well, that's all for now. Be sure to tune in next time for another exciting farm adventure! Thanks for visiting. Good bye for now. : )

    1. Hi Caryn, no she's had these for awhile. She's just got used to wearing them here lately. She says she likes that they help her see, and she'll leave them on. : ) Great to hear from you. Hope all is well out that direction! Kristi : )
