It's a ........

We had our 20 week sonogram today, and this little baby is a boy! :)  I was so surprised.,because I thought for sure it was a girl! It once again proves that I know nothing and God knows everything!  :) We now get to come up with a rugged, strong, boys name. (We've been thinking sweet, gentle, pink girl names!) The check up was great. He weighs about a pound. With long legs and arms. And moving alot. Which is what all our little boys do, so this is nothing new to us. :)  All the kids are happy and excited with the news, because I had them all convinced it was a girl. Except for Em, she will say she knew it was a little boy all along! :)

Don't you just love sonogram pix? I can see things when they are pointed out to me, but just to look on my own I'm kind of lost! This is one of the legs. His Foot is all the way on the left and then there's the shin , the thigh, and his little bottom. :)

A face only a mom could love. OK you have to imagine a chubby little face and sweet little smiles, covering this xray image!  :)
Doug and Sam had to get the loader tractor unstuck when we got home. (see video at bottom of page.)
While we were gone Gracie and our wonderful friend Melanie bakes cookies, and played games! They had a great time.

Doug and Sam the tractor crew.
That's about all for this exciting day for the Whitaker family.  Everyone seems to be getting better and either went to work or school today. In the evening Sam and Doug worked on grinding feed and snow removal. Then supper, baths, singing, prayers, bed for all the littles, games and talking for all the big kids and mom and dad. Busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.  Good Night!

  1. Congratulations on another little boy!!!! Kristi, you look wonderful - I'm so glad for you that everything is fine with baby. If you have time sometime - I'd love a reminder of your children's ages. I think I know the older few, but I don't remember some of the middles and littles. Just if you have time :) Glad you're all getting better!
