Emily got stuck in the driveway after getting the mail... but she was able to maneuver her way out.
Emily also got a job last week at Precision Planting in Tremont.
She is the new receptionist.
Emily was home early today because of the big snow
Some of the littles are sick with temperatures and coughs.=(
Jake's not actually sick, he just keeps everyone company!
Jess is glad she gets to be inside during the blizzard
Today has been a pretty slow day. Emily went to work for awhile this morning and then Doug brought her home. Thankfully before it was really bad out. She really likes her job and the people there are really great to her. We are very thankful. Next the starter went out on the Suburban so before it got bad we also had that fixed. It's the best 4 wheel drive vehicle we have and I think we will be using it in the next few days. The 2 big girls didn't go to Faith Baptist today because of the weather, and we didn't have school here today because Sam and Gracie have some kind of virus. So that left time for cleaning and organizing a few things and keeping up with the little ones who always keep life interesting! :) Since the storm has hit (and been getting dark) the water heaters on the animals waterers outside have stopped working and the pilot light on the water heater has been blowing out(because it is vented to the outside right in the direction of the wind) So that has required some work and unfortunately another trip outside for Doug. But I think he has it now, and the animals will survive til morning. So life is good! :) And that's about it for our day. Nothing routine about it. Matter of fact we just had some lightening and thunder outside, crazy weather! We are thankful for a warm house and all being together on such a night! Thanks for visiting! ~the Whitakers :)
Hey all!
ReplyDeleteNice blog. :) I can't wait for more posts. :)
I'm so glad Emily got the job! :) Is she going to work all year or just in the winter?
Wasn't the lightning so weird?!?!! I'm like I have to shut my computer off because of lightning in the middle of winter?!?! Whoa that was so wacky!
Hope y'all get better soon. :)
Love,
Brooke
