Just Like Spring!

Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day! I've got a beautiful feeling everythings going my way!! :) That's all the words I can remember. Sorry! :) Today was gorgeous from the time we got out of bed.
Sarah said when she went out to do chores she took a deep breath and it wasn't cold and it smelled  just like Spring!  That was until.....the dogs ran up to greet her and they DID NOT smell like spring! It seems in the night they found a skunk!! Ugh!!  They both smelled awful. Apparently the skunks think its spring as well.

This is the skunk dog  that NO ONE will be touching for quite some time! (Not sure where his smelly partner ran off to.)

While Sarah was out doing her chores this morning she also came across our only squirrel .He had a buddy but he met his demise earlier this year. Not sure what happened to this one. Loneliness?
This is all that's left of a really great snowman the kids made on Sunday.

On Sunday it was nice enough for Sarah to take Smokey for a road trip as well.

We also cooked out on the grill. Oops! Not to worry all the hamburgers were spared and supper was great thanks to Doug! :)

Of course there was also time for a snowball fight. Notice the kids are getting ready to get Doug...

And he's DOWN! And I think Em is too! :) Snowball fights can be vicious!

Sam watching everything from a safe distance. :)

Livie and Doug  :)

Rachel trying to get me to let her poor little dog stay in the house. :)

Daniel and Jacob sharing a warm space on the couch.  Well that's about it. I believe tomorrow is supposed to be equally as wonderful. I can't wait for spring!  It will be here before we know it. Planting, gardens, clothes on the line. (I might actually catch up with that pile of laundry! :)  green grass, sunshine, no coats and endless playing outside! Hooray! I can't wait! :)
