Olivia Turns 2!

We had Olivia's 2nd birthday party on Saturday! Her birthday was actually on the 4th of April, but it didn't work out til now to have grandmas and grandpas over. She was terribly happy when she realized that everyone was there for HER! :)

She got a little bike for her birthday.

She got some blocks in a special little truck on wheels from grandpa, that goes really, really fast around the kitchen /living room circle! :)

To Everyone!! :)  She also has taught Smokey to jump hay bales. So she showed us some of that also. It was pretty neat.

We had some rain Friday night and of course Jake found the only mud puddle left on the farm! :)

Earlier Saturday Sarah and Em met up with their friend Abigail at New Salem for a Civil war thing. They also had people there dressed up and doing talks from 8 other wars in history. It was very interesting.   

 

On Sunday we woke up intending to have a wonderful day of church, friends, and beautiful weather. Unfortunately Dan woke up early nauseated and throwing up. While we were trying to decide if it was just too much cake....Doug became really sick. So it was a bug. Em and her sisters went to church. I stayed home with all the little kids and a couple of really sick guys!. No one else has gotten it yet. Maybe it only effects the men in the family? :)  It was still a beautiful day, but not the way we had planned it. Due to our sickness we missed out on a great time at the Kaiser farm that evening. We are all sad about that and looking forward to rescheduling soon!  Well that's about it for our weekend, the guys are on the mend and Doug even went to work. Planting is calling. The little dog is still missing. We will keep you posted. Thanks for visiting! :)
