The Second Day of Summer Vacation!!  :)  Hooray! :)

Liv when she hasn't seen Bryce for a couple days!  :)he! he!!

     Its day 2 of the fabulous Summer Vacation of 2012!!  We started a new schedule which is working (so far) wonderfully.  Everyone is getting just a little more sleep, buit working hard.  We had alot of things we've been putting off in and outside the house til now.

Today for instance we......
~scooped rocks
~filled in holes in the yard
~cleaned our a couple closets
~pulled endless weeds in the garden
~cooked a couple pork roasts for a special B'day party on Thurs.
~washed all the lunch boxes from school and work
~Washed and hung out many loads of laundry
~started defrosting the upright freezer
~and.......
~now its time for lunch.

     The kids are playing outside, and picking berries off a tree. (which name escapes me right now).
And then we will have a great rest time before we go to the afternoon. 

Yesterday we.....
~cleaned out the pantry
~cleaned out the pantry closet in the basement
~dumped old jars
~washed lots of jars
~the girls took 2 dogs to the vet
~played endlessly in the evening.  :)   (which was the best part, of course!)
~washed the floors.

   So the plan for this week, in case you've missed the theme is shoveling out so that we will only have to maintain the current mess, rather than working in a disorganized mess.  If that makes any sense!  :)  We will get there.  And all my helpers have been very happy with the new schedule so that has helped tremendously!   
   
    Lots of stuff coming up this summer.  Birthdays, Ems wedding, swimming, going to do a little school too, and the big girls are going to work on some sewing. And of course the garden will keep us all going.  Fighting the weeds.  :(    And watering.  We did get a really good shower the other night which resulted in a pretty rainbow.  Very nice and very helpful, I must say.  God is good.
