On May 19, after 7 years of homeschool, and 6 years of Faith Baptist, Sarah graduated from High School. :)

It's hard to believe Sarah's all done with this part of her life. Somedays I can remember so clearly, as if yesterday, she was a little bitty girl. She has been a joy in our family. She has always been an outdoor girl who would rather be in the barn or garden. Working with her goats or riding the horse. She has learned alot of patience, responsibility, and is great at marketing! Her organization skills are fabulous! She has a great compassion for other people and will work hard until a job is done.
She has followed the Lord not just in aquiring knowledge about him, but by following Him through her actions and deeds in her life. Giving her life to Him in the 8th grade. Her lfe verse is Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear,.The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid. We are excited that she has completed this part of her life and are very much looking forward to what the Lord has for her to do in the year to come! Thanks for visiting! ~ The Whitakers

ReplyDeleteI just met Todd Stollers family tonight. When the Mom (can't rememer her first name) said their girls went to Faith Bapist in Pekin, (their graduate transferred to public in high school), I said "do you know the Whitakers?" She said yes! She mentioned Emily but hadn't heard that Em was engaged though she saw her recently. She was happy to hear it. Congratulations Sarah!
