A "Blood" Moon.

• Last night we had what is called a "blood" moon. It occurs when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon. And the sun is shining through the atmosphere of the Earth and casts a red shadow upon the moon.   There will be 2 this year. One last night. April 14, during Passover. Then another one in September 2014. During the Feast of Tabernacles.  The timing will be the same in 2015.  
• They are talked about many times in scripture.  What makes this time unique is that there are 4 in a row on the same dates. But then nothing is impossible for God right? Since He is the one that controls the heavens and the Earth?  : )   

           This is not the moon that I saw at our house at 3:00 this morning.  It's one I picked from the internet, because the coloring was very similar. Not a bright red, but more of a brownish red.  At our house there was a star very close to the moon, and it appeared to be red as well.  It was a very clear, beautiful night.  Pretty cold as well.  And once I realized I could see the moon from my kitchen window, I went back in the house! 

           Will this be significant in any way as many are speculating?  I can't say. We shall see what comes or doesn't come because of it. But now when I read in the Bible about a blood moon I will have seen what the writer is talking about.  Tonight I am staying in my warm bed. : ) ~Thanks for visiting.
