Rachel's 17th, Em's 22nd, AND its a BOY!

On February 18th Rachel turned 17!

She loves pickles and got some for a present. : )

Today she signed up for classes in the fall at ICC.  She is thinking she would like to be a nurse.  How time flies.  I am very excited for her. And I can't wait to see what God has in store for her in life. : )
This was her fabulous cake! Yummy.

Em also had a birthday on March21 this year.  Sadly I don't have any pictures though.  We got to have her party here this year, and everybody came to celebrate both her's and Rachels.  Thius year Bryce suprised Em with an overnight trip to Bloomington for her present.  They had a wonderful time.  She was very happy and very surprised.  Way to go Bryce!  : )

And then today, they told us we were getting a new Grandson in August!!!!  Yippee!!!  We are very excited to meet this little guy.    Between Bryces' mom and dad and Doug  and I ,this little boy will be a much loved, kissed, squeezed, and held little person!  To see a picture of this little one waving at his mommy and daddy check out The proud parents blog!    Well, that is about it for today.  It was another beautiful day out.  No rain, a nice breeze, somewhat warm.  Doug and Sam are working ground to plant a few oats, and the East fence was taken out yesterday, and being reconstructed today.  It will be a woven wire fence with 2 strands of barbed wire and I think a single strand of electric wire just for good measure.  Have I ever mentioned the fact that I hate to herd cows, (or any critter for that matter.), that have gotten out??   This hopefully will keep them in. : )  Kids are working hard to finish up school in about a month, and the garden will soon be started.  Planting popcorn is just around the corner.  We are still waiting for the dirt to be put back in our field where the Enbridge Pipeline has placed the oil pipeline.  But we are trusting that will be taken care of very soon.    And that is about all I can think of for now.  Life is full and good.  ~Thanks for visiting. : )
