A day in the life....

Our kids have been asking to sleep outside, and I have been telling them they would have to wait until the night time temp was in the high 40's. So when it finally got there last week I let them.  They put up their little tent outside the back door, drug 2 mattresses, and a TON of blankets out there, and amazingly slept all night out there.  I went out and checked a couple times to make sure everyone was covered and all was well. : ) They had fun and actually slept more than I did. : )

The pipeline closed our trench back in.  But it is very soft. So we are still not sure how well the irrigation will travel over the soft dirt.

Sarah acquired some goats a while back and has had to bottle feed them a couple times a day. She also put up a solar powered fencing system for grazing and this has worked quite well.  It has kept them thus far off the road and out of the fruit trees. : )

This is a picture of the pumping station they are putting in next door. It is actually quite massive. There are huge amount of people working there everyday.

 And that was our day. One day and this was only the fun outside activities. Not to mention the school, laundry, cooking, clean up, resting, errands, referring disagreements, gardening.....and well, everything else. Laughing, hugging, kisses, squeezes, listening, talking, holding, reading...all those great things that you never get tired of doing. : )   And today, thankfully, I get to do it all again.  And hopefully, do it better than I did yesterday as well.  : )  I hope your day is a great one too.  Thanks for visiting. ; )
