| Happy Kids! |

| Knee High Rye. : ) |
Yesterday Doug and Sam started planting field corn at Uncle Johns west field. They will hopefully finish there today and move onto the next one. We are praying all machinery works properly and holds together for a safe, smooth planting season. : ) Sarah went out yesterday and delivered supper for me after she got off work, Sam gave her a tractor driving lesson. She said by the time she had made a few rounds she had caught on pretty well. Sometimes I wish we had double our acres so that all our kids could do the things they love and be farmers like their Dad. It is a wonderful life and a great way to raise a family. Even better if you can pass it on to the next generation. We live in a generation of farmers with 10s of thousands of acres farmed by one man. Pride and greed rule the day making it very hard for the younger kids coming up. *sigh*. God knows. He knows all about it. All I can do is trust in that. Anyway, moving on.... : ). Planting has begun and we are thankful for another year! Thanks for visiting!
