Friday and a New Disk!

Today was a pretty exciting day on the farm.  Doug's new disk was delivered ! :) It came from a dealership in Verdan Il. Their name escapes me right this minute. Thankfully they delivered it for us.
It is brand new, never been used, no mud, and best of all no worn out parts to be fixed, ready to go to the field!  :) Happy Day!!  :)

Everyone wanted to check it out!

A very happy farmer!

This harrow came from a dealership in Roanoke, and is waiting to be attached to the disk.

Hunter and Caleb.
Later on in the day we babysat this little guy for a couple of hours.  He is just a month younger than Caleb. Very sweet and very quiet!  He is the grandson of one of our closest neighbors. :)
Have you ever had this problem?  ;)
The rest of the day was pretty normal.  Em went after work to visit with Bryce and some friends of theirs.  The older kids drove over to visit grandma and grandpa.  Doug unloaded a semi and has another one (staying the night down at the shed), to be unloaded in the morning.  All five of the littles stayed with us to watch Adventures in Odyssey.  :)   So tonight our family iskind of spread out all over creation! It's been snowing here for a while as well.

3 blessings from today:65.) grain cleaning work in the winter time.
66.)a successful year resulting in a new disk.
67.) being able to help a neighbor when they call. :)

                                                       Good Night!

  1. Love, Love, Love the pictures of Doug and his new "Man Toy"! Randy had to come to the computer and see Doug's new toy. Love that the kids are into it as well! So cute to see Jake in such a dilemma!
