Sunday

Today was definitely Sunday. A day full with worship and Rest!  :)  Church was completely wonderful.  Our Sunday school lessons for this year will revolve around Priorities.  Mainly making sure that God is at the center of our lives in all that we do.

Our pastor is going to be doing a series on II Peter.  He gave an example this morning with the help of a very new little baby.  And holding this little baby, our pastor marveling at the wonderfullness of this little girl asked the congregation ,"When was the last time we had looked into the face of a little baby and realized the miracle it was?"  To which Sam leaned over and whispered in my ear, "This morning Mom when I was holding Caleb."  :) :)  :) :)

An example of the rest happening at the Whitakers today!  :)

This is a picture Bryce sent us today from the gulf of Mexico!  :)

Isn't it beautiful?  (The beach. he! he!!)
Bryce told us how hard it was to be away and how much he couldn't wait to get back. Hmmmmm....After we received this picture the Whitaker women decided there would be no more sympathy! Sorry!  No not really. We are all looking forward to you getting back to Illinois too!

Back to today....After church we came home and took a nap. Sam went on a birthday date with my dad. He invited Sarah and Rach to go with him and they had a great time.  Doug and the rest of the kids went out ot do some things around the farm that involved fire.  Which is always exciting and makes them want  to help all the more! :)

Then we ate supper, had baths, singing, (which has become a lot of fun), stories with dad, and bed.

Three blessings of the day were.......

10.) A simply divine nap with Caleb.  (Different from yesterday's Heavenly nap! :)
11.) A grandpa and grandkids who love to be together.  :)
12.) A loving heavenly father who gives us His word, and other brothers and sisters
in Christ to fellowship / worship with.

That's about it for our Sunday.  A wonderful day to be together. Time for bed.
                           Thanks for visiting!  Good Night.
