Today has been a fun day for Rachel and I. It started out the normal way, but then I went to sew with Lily for a couple hours. I made a really cute little apron for Gracie and started some p.j.'s for Sam. After that I stopped at Presicion Planting and visited with Em for a few minutes. Then I headed home for lunch with Doug and Rach.
Soon Doug left and Rach had already finished school. So now what should we do? Hmmmmm...We decided to bake some granola! It was the only logical solution! I'm sure it would have been the first thing that came to your mind given the chance. Right?? :) We found a recipe we liked and commenced to cooking. If it turns out edible we will let you know! (thus, the retro cooking picture. :) ) P.S. Rachel would like everyone to know this is not the first activity that came to her mind! :)
We also did the usual cleaning, organizing, laundry, diapers, dishes, email checks...etc.... Chasing around babies and their brothers and sisters. No naps today. Sadly. But I did leave the house today so that was a good trade. This is a picture of my little man on the move. He's exploring the other rooms of the house now. When we put him down he leaves the room in search of new adventures! :)
Well that's about it for this part of the day...Since I didn't blog yesterday we have 6, count 'em, 6 blessings for today: 56) going to sew with Lily.
57.) getting a full nights sleep last night. Thanks to Doug. Thanks honey! :)
58.)having Rachel sacrifice an hour of sleep(gasp!) to get up early and make
breakfast this morning(actually she makes breakfast every morning)
Thanks Rachel!
59.)a funny teenager that is fun to hang out with! :)
60.) bacon :p yummy!
61.) all the books we borrowed from the library, that we get to read, and don't
have to buy!
I would like to thank Rachel for all her help on the "Blessing" list today. I couldn't have done it without her tireless input and inspiration. :) Thanks for visiting!
Beautiful post! Love your Blessings. Little Caleb is adorable and I love that he is creeping everywhere!
