I came upon these pictures of the girls tonight while I was trying to figure out what happened to the pictures I downloaded from today. So, I thought I would blog them.  I'm not sure if the girls ever had.  A photographer took them, thus the words through the picture, but they are still neat!                                     

     There were only a few Civil War reenactments that they went to in 2011.  A few were cancelled because of the weather.  But the ones they went to were fun.  Mainly getting dressed up. Watching the battles, and of course period dancing at the end of the day.  Also, meeting up with a great bunch of girls to talk about history, and eat out makes for a pretty great day too!   :)

     OK, back to today.  (I guess there will be no pictures!)  Today was your basic day on the Whitaker Farm.  Work, school, naps :), playing outside, laundry, BUT no one was sick, or cranky (including me. ), the weather was beautiful, all the animals stayed put, and I got to go grocery shopping with the handsome farmer that lives here.  :)  So what more can you ask for than that?

     Something else today was good mail, both E and snail mail. Plus visiting with people on the phone and in person.  Which is always a wonderful thing! But for some reason we had ALOT of it today.  God must have thought we needed some encouragement.  And I am so happy that He did! :) 

     3 blessings from today were: 16.)Talking to alot of friends and family..
                                                     17.) holding Olivias hand to walk around the farm.
                                                     18.) Doug being very happy to see me when he got home today. :)

     That's about it for today.  Nothing earth shattering, but sometimes, alot of times that is good! :)
