| Getting ready for church. :) |
Sunday was cold! The girls went to do the neighbors morning chores and came back reporting slick roads! :( Thinking maybe that the roads were only slick our way we decided to try the trip mto church. Well...it wasn't horrible but it was still slick. We made it. Thankfully. :)
Todays lessonds were in Ephesians., and putting on the full armor of God. We have been looking into this for a couple of weeks now. And while we have been here, in the Bible, before I am always amazed on how many new things we learn. Our sermon series has been on 2 Peter which we have also greatly appreciated. I am so glad we didn't give in and stay home.
By the time church was out more the ice was melted and ther roads were better. After lunch we went home and our wonderful kids treated Doug and I to a couple hours of sleep! :) We felt like brand new parents! It was great! Thanks guys! :)

| Bryce and Grace. Bryce makes an excellent horse! :) |
Later on Bryce came to visit Em, but I think tonight the kids got to visit with him a little more than she did! ;) They had a lot of fun.
 |
| Grace and Jake racing cars on the table. :) |
 |
| Even Caleb got to play! |
 |
| I don't think Sam is winning! |
 |
| This move doesn't seem to be helping either! :) |
 |
| Buddies. :) |
 |
| Gracie is an excellent helper with her little brother! :) |
Later on the kids drove over and visited their cousins to meet their new puppy! They had a great time visiting with them. Then it was home for baths, and bed. Followed by talking with our big kids, and then bed. Can you believe after such a great nap we were still able to go to sleep that night? Does that mean we are getting old?? ;) Oh well! I'll accept it for restful days like today. :)
3 blessings from today: 49.) safe travel to church
50.) catching up on some much needed sleep. ;)
51.) time with Doug to talk about all the things we learned at church
today.
That's it! Good Night!
Next time make sure Bryce does push-ups while Grace is on his back - his niece and nephew will attest that he is great at that!
ReplyDeleteIsn't God wonderful - no matter how many times we hear something or study it, there is always some new insight to glean! Love it!
Caryn:)

DeleteIt is my pleasure to inform you that, yes,Bryce has attempted to do push ups with multiple little Whitaker's on his back. =D poor guy! trips to the chiropractor could be frequent!!
